WOW is March gone already? Crazy! It blows my mind how fast it flew by. Time for this month’s edition of the Ultimate Coffee Date! This morning I am linking up with Run Happy Blog, Short Stories From Long Runs and Fitness Mom Wine Country and tons of other great bloggers for the Ultimate Coffee Date!
Sit down and have a nice hot cup of coffee. It is done brewing and it smells so good in here.
If we were having coffee I would tell you how I have to run 10 miles today and I am nervous about it, since it’s only my 2nd time running this distance. I succeeded last Saturday with only a little blood on my one toe from the nail of the toe beside it. Which has now been clipped so I shouldn’t have that issue again. I was so excited to run my first double digit run last weekend too. Granted I walked some too, but that’s ok. Remember, if it’s good enough for Olympic Runner Jeff Galloway, it’s good enough for me!
If we were having coffee together I would tell you that I was moved by the Good Friday service at church last night and how I cannot even begin to fully appreciate what Jesus did for us on the cross. That my Savior loves me, and He loves you and paid the ultimate price for us, just to get to know us, so that we can all rejoice in heaven with Him! I would also tell you that I am really excited about the Easter egg hunt our church is doing today at 11 (so I need to leave by 10:30 this morning) for the neighborhood. I am hoping that lots come out and we can reach lots of lost souls.
As we chatted over coffee I would tell you that our first camping trip of this year is fast approaching! We will be camping from the 15th till the 20th of April! So it’s coming fast. I am very excited to finally be out camping! I probably won’t be able to blog, as there won’t be any WiFi, but I will have tons of photos to share when we come home. Last night we extended our trip by 2 more days. We have some friends who are going to come out Friday & Saturday nights with us.
If we were having coffee I would tell you that I am finally getting over my cold. The one that’s been hanging on for almost a month now. I am so glad to be getting over it. If I was still sick, we wouldn’t be having this little get together.
If we were having coffee I would tell you that we were given a TON of girls clothes for my daughter to go through. She picked out what she wanted and could fit into, and then the rest is there for other girls from church to go through. We have 4 girls coming over on Monday to go through it. So right now my living room looks like the storage room at a 2nd hand clothing store lol!
If we were having coffee this is when we would have to part ways, so I could get ready for the Easter egg hunt. I’m sorry our visit was so short this month. Between being sick and this being Easter weekend, I am super busy!
I hope you’ll decide to join us for this very fun Monthly Link up!
